LARGE ARMS

These are the pride of the Nerf Warriors arsenal! These are the guns that strike fear into all mortal men. These are the BIG guns!

THE CHAINBLAZER-This is one of the finest all around assault weapons. It's long range, high rate of fire, and fair accuracy make it a winner. It does however occasionally skip or jam, as is inherent of all chain weapons. But for only $13 it's a steal. If you could outfit your team with only one weapon, this one should be it. AMMO TYPE: Any darts but rip rockets.

THE CROSSBOW-Many people said this gun sucks, but on the contrary, it is the finest single shot weapon on the market. It is powerful unmodified, but modified it can be the farthest and fastest shooting gun you have. It's not cheap as far as nerf guns go, about $20, but for a all purpose assault rifle, it rocks. AMMO TYPE: Stingers or Arrows.

MANTA RAY-This is a pretty good gun. It is powerfull, and has the ability to fire 4 darts or two sets of 2 darts. It is made to let you block bullets, but the way I and many others play, the gun is a viable target. The gun is good if you need that much more firepower, but it's hard to carry around. Overall a better then average rating. AMMO TYPE: Any darts but rip rockets.

THE ARROWSTORM-I have never personally used an ARROWSTORM but I have heard endless ravings about them. Everyone says it has great range and power, but personally I'd prefer to just use a CHAINBLAZER and not have to worry about those arrows. AMMO TYPE: Arrows.

BALLZOOKA-I have never used a BALLZOOKA but I have read about them and tried one in the stores. The gun in my opinion is too large to carry anything else, especially since it requires two hands to use. And the balls are less then accurate. Overall, I don't like it, but many other people have found great success with it. Decide for yourself. AMMO TYPE- Balls.

THE EAGLE EYE-I have mixed feelings for this gun. It has pretty good power and range, and the light works okay indoors when it's dark, but it alerts the enemy to your wherabouts. However, I don't want to carry around a gun that big if it only shoots one shot at a time. AMMO TYPE- Any darts but rip rockets.

RIPSAW-This gun is stupid. First of all, when you rev it up everyone and their brother knows where you are. Second, it only shoots three rapid fire balls then you have to reload and rev it again. The balls don't go very far, and they are leaps and bounds from being accurate. Useless, pointless, stupid. AMMO TYPE- Balls.

MASTER BLASTER-I have never used this gun, but I know about it. When you pull the handle, it fires one barrel, when you push, it fires the other. This system is both non powerful, but is also impractible. Balls are inherently unaccurate, and the unsusual method of firing only ampliphies this. I wouldn't recommend this, it's impossible to find anyway. AMMO TYPE-Balls.

DEFENDER T3-The DEFENDER T3 is a cute and cool sounding idea. It's a two shot gun, or can be a pistol and bow and arrow. I bought one thinking this was cool. But during battle, I'm sorry to say that the idea proved too impractical. I returned the gun. During battle I just didn't have time to fool with loading both barrels or seperating the guns, and it proved to hard to supercharge. Another cool but unusable idea, take the $28 and buy a couple of other guns. AMMO TYPE-Arrows, and all Darts except rip rockets.

RAZORBEAST-Everyone says this gun sucks, but with proper improvements and care, it can prove to be sort of usefull (see OTHER COOL IDEAS AND THINGS section). It is the only Nerf fully automatic gun on the market, and it's reliability and power greatly suffer. If you do what I said in the section just mentioned, it could be okay. But it is not a gun you'd want to run around with without a backup gun. AMMO TYPE- All darts except rip rockets

SAWTOOTH-I had high hopes for this gun. I saw that it had two interchangeble clips and it looked pretty cool. However, I was very disappointed with it. It has absolutely no range ot power whatsoever, and the clips either jam, or just fall out of the damn thing when you press the trigger. The best you could do is to open her up and elongate the spring, but it doesn't do much good. AMMO TYPE- Stingers

ROTOTRACK- The ROTOTRACK is one of the newest Nerf guns, and is a member of the Cyber Stryke line. It is basically this, a CHAINBLAZER that holds a 12 dart belt, and the back straps on to your forearm. Besides that, it fires just like a CHAINBLAZER. It has fair accuracy, but it's range isn't quite as good as it's cousin's. But you do have 12 darts instead of 8, this makes it worth paying the 15 bucks for. AMMO TYPE: Any Darts but Rip-Rockets.

COMMLINK II- Okay, here's the deal, instead of turning this good idea into a usable weapon. Nerf decided to use two crappy weak pistols, and slap on these walkie-talkie things that have a range of MAYBE 100 feet. That doesn't include the fact that they don't work through walls, or the occasional tree. The guns look cool, but are very weak, and the radio feature is hardly worth the hefty price tag, over $30 in most places. Take the money and buy a couple of other guns. AMMO TYPE: Any darts but Rip-Rockets.

NERF SUPERMAXX 3000- Yes, I know what you're thinking "Hey, that's the Larami 2500!". And you're right and wrong. Nerf bought Larami's dart gun division and now manufactures the "Nerf Supermaxx" line. They repackaged the 2500 and sell it as the 3000 with longer ammo. The 3000 is the same as the 2500 except for two important reasons. The 3000 is weaker than the 2500, and uses a longer ammo. The 2500 is more powerful.

EXPAND-A-BLAST- This gun is from a brand new line of Nerf guns call, "Nerf Hypersight". It is a single shot rifle, and the barrel telescopes out in front. It's not released yet, so I don't know anything else about it.

GATLING STORM- This gun is also not yet released and is from Nerf's OTHER new line: "Max Blitz". It is a large wheel shaped gun, with a handle in back, and 12 seperate barrels around the wheel! Looks interesting.....

These are the REAL manly guns! Some are a bit impracticle, but anybody who likes to have occasional Nerf wars has GOT to get a relieble, usable main weapon.
